With my Needle is a wonderful show! It opened on Tuesday evening this week and despite a typically rainy Vancouver February evening we had a great time celebrating the work of our members. The show is a great mix of styles and techniques and shows off the diversity and talent of the members, we really do cover all the bases.

The show is on at the Silk Purse Gallery ,1570 Argyle Ave, West Vancouver- their winter hours are 12 till 4 pm. There will be volunteers from the North Shore Needle Arts Guild in attendance every day so drop in for a visit and see new creations in progress!
Welcome to our new blog!
Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are the North Shore Needle Arts chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America. We meet the second Thursday of each month at St Martins Church , North Vancouver at 9:30 am and all you need to bring is your coffee mug!
This is all new to us! As we gather up images and information we promise to post them and show you what we do.
But for now we would like to invite you to visit the Silk Purse Gallery in West Vancouver to see some of our members’ work. The show runs from February 5th to the 17th, 2013. With an opening reception on Tuesday February 5th from 6 till 8 pm- hope you can join us!
